What Do You Think?

Death walks silently among us,
As we tremble in our cribs.
Bloated bellies with sugar coated lies,
And dreams we never had.

Outcasts unto the masses left to die alone,
Crippled minds supported by the ignorance of society.
Living off the tortures created within
ourselves, dieing slowly by our own hands.

Regulated by our oh so free society,
kept in check at every turn of our lives.
Solitude, pride, and prejudice ignorant to your own beliefs.

We have become the wretched wallowing
In our own stagnant perfume, blind to the
Injustices done...deaf to the prices of freedom.

Our own cries silenced by our fake world.
Deprived, starving, and beaten, are the
Soldiers struggling for our existence. An
existence that can so easily be ripped away
and held like a carrot on a stick, leading us forward.

Hook, line, and sinker they took the bait
into their petty positions. Their status reeks
like the rotting cesspools of their own shit.
They believe the lies and stand for the
Dictators of their decisions, "thanks a shit load sir
for making up our tiny feeble minds."

For I have no free will, no free voice,
I cannot be myself. Paint yourselves into
your images of the elite. Destroy the futures
chance for individuality, and kill every hope we stand for.

Mock us for our knowledge and a plague shall be
put upon your land. You are rotting in your filth anyway.
What’s one more disease on our decaying earth?

Rape the land now like you did once before.
Take away the children’s dreams, so their
future seems useless. Extinguish their flames,
thieve their innocence. You make things this way,
we feed from your ignorance.

They follow like the sheep that they are,
led to slaughter for your wealth. The degradation
of society is pathetic! People with no jobs, because
they are lazy, fat, and would rather live on welfare.
Why face the reality of the world, when emerging yourself
into a fantasy world. Do psychotropic drugs seem so much better?

When will you realize that we all must progress with change?
Change is the essence of life, with change comes growth.
We can not grow if we do not work together to change what we
have follied for so long.

There is no time machine, we cannot go back,
and change the past. We can only improve our future,
for our children and ourselves. We must prepare for
what’s to come. We can rise up out of our filth,
brush the slime from our clothes, and make a new start.
A new start towards a better tomorrow.

Why not get along with each other? We are too damn stubborn to see that we are all the same. We breathe the same air, and bleed the same blood. Things have gotten out of hand, and they need to be reorganized. Look ahead to the future, not what’s in the past!

Take Me To Your Leader!

We are geeks...
We will rule the world...
Bill Gates is our leader...

Thursday, April 14, 2005

Hello?

Hello?
Is this god?
Hello god!
I tried calling earlier,
but the line was busy.
what's that?
You were answering another call?
oh...Well that's ok, I'm sure you
helped them just fine.
I kept trying, and once I think
I got your answering machine.
I left you a message, but I'm not
sure if you got it.
Then I looked at my children, and
their smiles and innocence overwhelmed me,
and I realized you had heard me. So now I'm
just calling to say thanks for answering my call.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

"This movie is fantastic, it gives us what we all secretly, and maybe desperately wish for-- a chance to forget something that's hurt us in the past. The viewer can live vicariously through the two dysfunctional characters that are just like myself or anyone else. We sympathize with the characters, we come to love them. The relationship problems are the same, The, fighting, and the bickering are things we all can relate to. The acting was wonderful throughout the movie, I actually forgot that I was watching funny man Jim Carrey. Carrey and Winslet pull off a great performance, both ditching the typecasts that they've been shackled with. Not only did the movie give us the opportunity to see what it would be like once painful memories were erased, but it also gave us the opportunity to see that everything deserves a second chance. The ending leaves the viewer with the ability to imagine how the characters' lives will end. An idealist may say that they lived happily ever after; a pessimist may say that they just reverted to disliking each other again. Any way you slice it, it leaves you to imagining your own ending; a characteristic some movies tend to leave out. Ultimately, this movie makes you think, 'What if...?' It gives new meaning to the phrase "You never know what you've got until it's gone." This is a must see movie!

Kitty's Bedtime Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray this cushy life to keep.

I pray for toys that look like mice,

and sofa cushions, soft and nice.

For grocery bags where I can hide,

just like a tiger, crouched inside!

I pray for gourmet Kitty snacks,

and someone nice to scratch my back.

For window sills all warm and bright,

for shadows to explore at night.

I pray I'll always stay real cool,

and keep the secret feline rule.

To NEVER tell a human that...

the world is really ruled by CATS!

Sincerely the Cat!

This made me think of our friend Tim and his kitties...spacificly Hanna!!!

Ode to Spot

Felix Catus, is your taxonomic nomenclature,
an endothermic quadruped carnivorous by nature?
Your visual, olfactory and auditory senses
contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.

I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations,
a singular development of cat communications
that obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
for a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.

A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents;
you would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aide in locomotion,
it often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.

O Spot, the complex levels of behaviour you display
connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

I love Data. I miss TNG (The Next Generation). It was a great show.

My Birthday (revised)

WOOT! Tommy came home today with my birthday presents. He went to get some flowers and grass seed for the yard today. He brought home lunch, grass seed, and a birthday present. He handed me a receipt from EB games, and I'm like "WTF?" Its only when I looked closer, that I noticed that id was for DOOM3 Unlimited. I about shit my pants. You see last week he said " we are short on funds, so you are going to have to wait until may for DOOM3." Needless to say I was a bit upset. So anyway I get it today. WOOT...I say WOOT! So then he gives me the bag of food from McD's, and I open it, and what to mine eyes find? Why they find Stand By Me Deluxe Edition. Man I love my hubby! He is a sneaky shit. I love him so much, he spoils me rotten sometimes. I am not a woman who likes flowers, or diamonds, but in fact I like the simpler things. If you want to make me happy, then get me something that will last longer then flowers. Maybe something like...a sword, a movie...you know something like that. Anyway...my birthday got lots better. Thanks Tommy...I love you honey.

My Birthday

32 years ago at 12:30, I came into this world. I was looking forward to my birthday this year, but soon lost my enthusiasm for it. Usually I get birthday cards well before, my birthday ever arrives. Well, not this year! My dad usually calls first thing in the morning to wish me a happy birthday, not this year. The only one who remembered my birthday is my own husband. I know it sounds like I am complaining, but I really enjoy getting older. I become cooler, and a bigger geek. Now, with the arrival of today, I am kind of bummed. I like being the center of attention, on my birthday. I am not going to remind anyone, because they should remember on their own. However...the day is not over yet. I guess I'm still kind of excited...I love my birthday! No big though, because I get to spend all day with my husband, and our three awesome boys! What could be a better birthday than that....maybe sex too. :)
